Research and Assessments
Baseline Study on Quality of Care, FPAP/IPPF, Lahore – 2014
Conducted baseline research on quality of care for SRH and HIV aids patients in public and private facilities. The assessment was included of policy guidelines for service, availability of infrastructure and physical support, availability and quality of staff with respect to counseling and care. The findings were shared with IPPF south Asia partners and recommendations were shared for the next phase of IPPF HIV AIDS integrated program.
Value Chain Studies (Farm/Non Farm) of District Chitral, THRIVE, Pakistan, - 2014
Conducting value chain studies in District Chitral (including Daroosh, Booni, Mastauj, Bamboorit) to identify gaps of the key value chains including, honey making, bee keeping, handicrafts, medicinal plants, fruits and dry fruits. The findings of the studies will help the stakeholders from producers to policy makers to improve their inputs in the value chain for more profitability and product development.
Constraints and Opportunities in Promoting Micro Credit for Biogas Plants Installation, RSPN, 2010
Conducted a study on “Constraints and Opportunities in Promoting Micro Credit for Biogas Plants Installation”. The core objectives of the study were to assess the relevant stakeholders (Retailer and Wholesaler) in promoting biogas credit in terms of their interest, capacity and position; to analyses the need of the credit for the biogas installation in the program area; to identify the constraints and opportunities in financing of biogas plants (biogas credit) in the programme area and recommend appropriate models, mechanisms and products to promote the credit for financing of biogas plants.
Research Study on Female Mobility Issues, Care International, Sindh/Punjab 2010
Conduct a scoping study at facilitating (working) female mobility in two districts as pilot project.
Loan and Training Intervention, PPAF/World Bank, 2008
Action research study “Loan and Training Intervention, was conducted in 4 regions (Attock, Mardan, Hyderabad, Bahawalpur) of NRSP for World Bank Washington to analyze the impact difference of micro-credit and micro-enterprise. A 32 days TOT of “Enterprise Development Program” was conducted for the NRSP staff that conducted approx. 70 enterprise development trainings for approx. 1800. Five (5) day TOT was designed and conducted as second stage for further capacity building of the trainers for handholding, mentoring and support to local entrepreneurs.
Database of Female Entrepreneurs in Karachi, Leasing Association of Pakistan, 2009
Provided technical and managerial support for the research and development of a database of 1000 SME (women owned) from Karachi (Orangi, Korangi, Khadda, Lyari and Kharadar). The research was conducted to design an economic empowerment strategy for women by the LAP.
Establishment of Female Focused Counseling Centers (CHOICES), ILO, 2010
Design and conduct a pilot research study on “Female Focused Career Centers” The purpose of the study is to explore the role of effective career counseling in enhancing women’s employment; to identify gaps in the current practices of counseling with particular focus on women’s issues and recommend measures to overcome them through effective career counseling; to sensitize the relevant institutions about the standard practices of career guidance and about incorporating gender aspects in their work; to develop a model of gender-responsive career counseling program and to compare implementation and effectiveness of gender-responsive career counseling program in urban and rural set-up.
Facilitating Female Mobility, Care International, 2011
Conduct a research to develop a scoping study to identify two best routes to pilot women-only transportation facilities and identify key private and public sector stakeholders to propose models for implementation. The scoping study should have been enable USAID Pakistan Jobs project to develop an evidence-based approach to piloting women-only transportation facility through a local implementing partner.

Conduct research on women’s issues in public transport. Devise communication campaign aimed at influencing behavior change and implement a pilot project “Women Friendly Transport Rout”
Gender Review of 04 Labor Laws for Department of Labour, Punjab, 2014
A gender review of 04 key labor laws will be conducted for DoL, Punjab in consultation of all stakeholders, a findings will then be submitted to ILO for their review and an approval from the department will be obtained to implement the law as per suggestions.

Conduct of gender assessment of Plan-Pakistan at organizational, region, partner and beneficiary level to assess the gender mainstreaming efforts with respect to Plan National and International policy recommendations.
Gender Sensitive Career Counseling Center, ILO, 2010
Conducted a research study in education and vocational sector to assess the level and provision of career counseling and guidance services to the students. The study was conducted across Pakistan and all major institutions and sectors were included in sample. The report with key findings was submitted to ILO. The research was as base documents to conduct a pilot project in KP and Sindh universities.

End of Project Evaluation – SOLIDAR WASH Project, District Layyah, 2018
Conduct end of project evaluation of WASH project in two flood effected UCs of district Layyah. The purpose of the assignment was to assess level of impact on personal health & hygiene practices of community members and school children.
Market Research, AGAHEE, Lahore – 2018
Conduct of Market Research for AGAHEE-Pakistan for their urban WASH project in two UCs of Lahore. The findings were used to refine the project implementation strategy.
Mid-Term Evaluation & Impact Assessment, CIDA Pakistan Basic Education Project (CPBEP) – 2008-09
A 5-year CPBEP project was implemented in Lahore, Multan and Lodhran. Conducted a mid-term evaluation to highlight the project achievement and identify the gap in different project interventions to support strategy and planning.

Project evaluation, impact assessment and strategy to improve the project activities. Field visit and consultative workshop were arranged to produce report and strategy.
Midterm Project Evaluation, SOLIDAR-Switzerland, Layyah, 2016
Conducted a mid term project evaluation to assess the impact of project interventions and suggest the refresher training interventions for the flood effected beneficiaries of District Layyah.
Screening of “Best Entrepreneur” for Citi-PPAF Award, PPAF, 2010: Screened of best 12 Entrepreneurs (at per Citi-PPAF criteria) for annual award for the year of 2011
. A total of 300 case studies were submitted from approximately 150 partner organizations. A detail report with 12 shortlisted cases was submitted as project deliverable.
Gender Review and Audit of Primary Text Books, Baluchistan, United Nations International Children Education Fund (UNICEF), 2011
Reviewed the public schools textbooks (grades 1 to 5) to identify gender gaps, biases, gender division of labor, usage of technology and preferences for career path/ professions exits in the textbooks at the primary level. Identification of key areas to be addressed for the removal of gender biases from textbooks and suggest appropriate recommendations were the key inputs of the assignment. The findings of the report were presented in Baluchistan cabinet for approval to make textbooks gender sensitive.
